Accessibility statement
Techeles Israel is an independent information service. We work to improve access to guides and services for people with visual, motor, hearing or reading disabilities.
Accessibility update: 21 October 2026
Our approach
Our work targets applicable Israeli accessibility requirements, Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, and improvements based on WCAG 2.2 AA. This statement is not a professional certification or a claim that full conformance with every criterion has been verified.
Navigation and display preferences
- A skip-to-content link, navigation and content landmarks, and headings help you find your way.
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, Enter to follow links, and Enter or Space to activate buttons.
- The accessibility button at the bottom right opens text size, high contrast, link highlighting and reduced motion options. Escape closes the dialog.
- Increase text up to 200% in the menu or use browser zoom. Preferences are stored only in this browser when storage is available.
- For search suggestions, use Up and Down arrows to select a suggestion and Enter to open it. Escape closes suggestions.
- Hebrew and Arabic use right-to-left layout; English uses left-to-right. Decorative illustrations do not replace text information.
Testing and known limitations
Code, keyboard, display and automated checks were performed in a Chromium test environment. A professional accessibility survey and user testing with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack on physical devices have not been completed. Official source links may lead to websites or documents outside our control. You can request assistance or an alternative way to receive information if a page or process is inaccessible.
