01

Preserve the message

Save sender, date, amount and reference without providing payment data or codes.
What should you prepare?

Message copy without card details.

Please note

Do not open suspicious files merely to document them.

02

Verify independently

Use a separately found official website or number to identify service, period, debtor and reference.
What should you prepare?

Demand reference; amount.

Please note

Logos and HTTPS alone do not prove identity.

03

Separate collection from liability

For the Fines Collection Center identify the originating body; dispute the underlying charge with that body and copy the Center as instructed.
What should you prepare?

Case details; required ID.

Please note

The Center collects and does not decide underlying liability.

Compare evidence and remedy

Match receipts and records; request correction for identity or allocation errors or use the relevant objection route.
What should you prepare?

Receipts; source documents.

Please note

Do not pay twice merely to test recording.

05

Act on verification

For real charges check payment or appeal; after disclosing data to a suspect site, promptly contact bank/card issuer and appropriate cyber reporting.
What should you prepare?

Event details; evidence.

Please note

Cyber reporting does not automatically cancel debt or refund money.

Frequently asked questions

Does a fake message prove there is no debt?

No. Impersonation may coexist with a real charge; verify independently with the official body.
